You can spend New Year 2027 and the January holidays at a banya in Krasnaya Polyana with your own group and no other guests: at BANSKЪ, a private banya at 9 Vodopadnaya Street, the entire 1500 sq m estate is closed for one group for the length of each visit. 31 December and January fall in high season: a visit for up to 5 guests costs 35,000 RUB per hour with a three-hour minimum, so from 105,000 RUB. Each guest beyond five is 7,000 RUB per hour, and the rate for two is 70,000 RUB for two hours. How a holiday at a private banya works
At a private banya you rent the whole estate, not a place in a steam room. At BANSKЪ that means only your group is on the gated, guarded grounds: no other guests and no overlap with them. You set the pace yourselves — when to go into the steam room, when to the cauldron, when to sit down at the table and when to rest by the fire.
The 1500 sq m hold eight spaces: a wood-fired steam room with linden benches (from 70°C), a 15-metre pool heated year-round, a cauldron heated over an open fire under the sky (39°C), a cold plunge with water from a mountain spring (7–10°C), a lounge by the fireplace, a massage room, swings and a veranda with mountain views, and a restaurant. The banya master adjusts the temperature, intensity and length of steaming to how each guest feels, so seasoned steamers and first-timers can share the same evening. The restaurant is inside the estate, so there is no need to go anywhere between rounds.
BANSKЪ does not offer overnight accommodation. If you spend a holiday evening at the banya, decide in advance where you will sleep: guests stay at hotels in Krasnaya Polyana.
31 December or the January holidays
A holiday visit can be planned in different ways. If there is free time on 31 December, you can see the old year out in the steam room and the hot cauldron with your own group. You can pick 1 or 2 January, for a quiet, warm day after the night of celebrations. Or you can take any evening of the January 2027 holidays: many people come to Krasnaya Polyana for the ski season and end the day at the banya.
BANSKЪ is open round the clock, and the time of each visit is agreed when booking. Whether the hours you want on 31 December and the holidays are free is confirmed at booking: dates for those days are on request. If your plans are flexible, name two or three options when you book.
The banya in winter: the cauldron and the spring plunge
In winter the hot-and-cold contrast feels sharper. After the steam room comes the hot cauldron over the fire under the open sky (39°C), then the cold spring-water plunge (7–10°C), then rest by the fireplace or on the veranda. The 15-metre heated pool works all year round, winter included, and is part of the visit price.

Prices for 31 December and the January holidays
On the site price list, December to March is high season, so 31 December and the January holidays are charged at the high-season rate. The rate is for the whole estate, not per person: up to 5 guests are in the base rate, and each additional guest is charged separately. Prices as of 26 October 2026:

Every hour after the third is charged at the same rate, 35,000 RUB. Children under 8 are free, and children aged 8 to 14 get 50% off. Optional steaming, massage and dishes are added on top. What the price includes
- The whole estate. 1500 sq m of gated, guarded grounds for your time, with no overlap with other guests.
- Steaming. One collective aroma steaming for the group and one classic steaming for each guest, with eucalyptus and oak veniks.
- Water. The 15-metre pool heated year-round, the wood-fired cauldron (39°C) and the cold spring-water plunge (7–10°C).
- Essentials. A robe, terry slippers, a banya cap, towels and sheets for the whole session.
- Cosmetics. An Acqua di Parma amenity set and natural massage oils.
- Tea table. Krasnaya Polyana tea, chestnut and Altai honey, homemade preserves.
A festive table from the BANSKЪ kitchen
BANSKЪ has its own kitchen, and dishes are paid for from the menu. The menu is built on local produce: farmer's meat and poultry from local partners, trout from the Adler farm and greens from the estate's own garden. The main rule of the kitchen is nothing frozen. A few dishes for a festive table (prices as of 26 October 2026):
- fish soup in a cauldron, on 1 kg of trout for 3–4 guests — 6,900 RUB;
- baked sturgeon with lemon and herbs — 720 RUB per 100 g, order one day ahead;
- rack of lamb on the grill with thyme and rosemary — 960 RUB per 100 g;
- fish appetiser platter (cold-smoked sturgeon, lightly salted trout, caviar) — 6,900 RUB;
- Magadan prawns with a creamy sauce — 560 RUB per 100 g, boiled crayfish by pre-order — 860 RUB per 100 g;
- house morse and live kvass — 1,400 RUB per litre.
Some dishes are prepared to pre-order no later than one day before the visit. The menu is seasonal, so it is easiest to agree the festive table when you book. The full menu is on the kitchen page.
Steaming and massage
Optional steaming programmes are priced per guest: classic steaming (15–20 min) 5,900 RUB, honey-and-salt steaming and the birch soap wash 9,800 RUB each, four-handed steaming 11,900 RUB, the author's steaming (60 min) 17,600 RUB and the signature steaming (80–90 min) 29,000 RUB. An additional aroma steaming for the whole group is 4,500 RUB. For a long holiday evening the signature steaming brings most of it together: four-handed steaming, contrast cooling with mineral water, honey-and-salt steaming with a citrus rub, a soap wash, rest in the pool and a juniper-besom scalp massage.
Massage takes place in a separate room, with natural oils and Acqua di Parma cosmetics: a 60-minute classic or lymphatic drainage massage is 10,900 RUB, head and face (40 min) 8,900 RUB, and a 15-minute express 5,900 RUB. Why holiday dates are booked early
BANSKЪ hosts one group at a time. Each booking closes the whole estate, so only one group can have any given time, and there are few holiday evenings in a year. The second reason is the table: some dishes are made only to pre-order, and a holiday menu is easier to agree together with the date. In high season (December to March) and around holidays, book four to six weeks ahead. Dates and times for 31 December and the January holidays are on request.
